What's going on
Main Street Albany is preparing for an old-school event on Saturday, July 26 (7/26) to celebrate the community. "726 Day is a throwback to the days when all Albany telephone landlines had 726 as the prefix. We hope to bring a little old-fashioned fun back to the square," says Tonya McCampbell, Main Street Albany promotions chair.
The family-friendly event will take place at Smith Street Park. Last year's event featured activities like a pet pageant and parade, greased watermelon relay, watermelon eating contest, hula hoop contest, and more.
